Kotipizza Group

Everybody loves a great pizza.

Kotipizza’s mission is to make the best pizzas from highest quality ingredients. The company has established itself as the leading pizza franchising chain in Finland with more than 200 passionate entrepreneurs.  The winning recipe includes an entrepreneurial spirit and critical mass enabling high quality marketing, concept development and ingredient sourcing.

During Sentica’s ownership the company has put even more focus on ingredients and the importance of communicating this to consumers, which is reflected in the new menu and concept that was launched in 2014. In the spring of 2015 Kotipizza expanded outside of the traditional pizza by introducing a Mexican style restaurant chain Chalupa. In July 2015 Kotipizza was listed on the Helsinki stock exchange. Sentica exited Kotipizza in February 2017 by selling its shares to over 70 institutional investors.

Pihlajalinna

An aging population and increasing healthcare expenses are among the most severe challenges facing Western countries like Finland in the coming years.

Pihlajalinna has taken an active role in the transition of the Finnish healthcare industry by creating unique service concepts to serve both the private and public sectors. It all started in 2001 when Mikko Wirén founded the company to offer physician staffing services to municipalities in the Pirkanmaa region. In a little bit over a decade, Pihlajalinna has developed into one of the largest comprehensive nationwide healthcare service providers.

In 2012 Pihlajalinna took a leap into the Helsinki metropolitan area by acquiring the leading local private healthcare company Dextra. Furthermore, during Sentica’s ownership Pihlajalinna has acquired more than 20 other healthcare companies and carried out notable complete healthcare and social care outsourcings. Pihlajalinna was responsible for the first ever outsourcing of a public district hospital in 2010. Today all private healthcare services are produced under the Dextra brand and Pihlajalinna brand serves the public sector. In June 2015 Pihlajalinna was listed on the main list of Helsinki Stock Exchange.

Puuilo is a discount retailer offering everything under the sun ranging from construction tools and small hardware to household products, garden and leisure products as well as horse- and animal products. Puuilo is known for its good prices and most of the products are tempting especially for DIY men and women.
